 Cahir Camogie Club Notes

Our near neighbours, Brian Boru’s travelled to Cahir on Wednesday evening last to take on our U14 team in the B league. Conditions on the pitch were pretty miserable making it hard on both teams to hold their footing. With the field being so wet and mucky, the ball also found it hard to travel with ground hurling all most impossible due to the sliothar dropping dead each time it hit the surface. On saying that, the small crowd of spectators enjoyed a competitive game with some lovely passages of play from both teams. Cahir emerged victorious with a score line of 6-5 to Borus3-1.

Cahir & District Ladies Club

The Ladies club is on Monday 11th May at 9pm in the hall. Thanks to Rita Condon for talking about Reiki and for giving a lovely Indian head massage to Tricia Brunnick. Thanks also to Amanda for the 6 week course in Salsa Aerobics. It was enjoyed by all.

Well done to the Cahir girls who received medals at the Community Games

Gymnastic Aoife Cashman received the Bronze for Under 8’s and Elysia Cagney received the Bronze Under 12’s.

Thanks to Gillian and Martin O' Keeffe for the training them so well
