LOST DOG!!!
Our beloved dog - Bear - a young Rottweiler x Black Lab has gone missing since last Tuesday (29th Dec). She was on the farm in Tankerstown, Bansha, with my sister in law and vanished (presumed stolen). We have spoken to many neighbours, the Gardai, scoured the local roads and mountain paths & I have put posters up around Clonmel, Cahir, Bansha and Tipp but so far have had no word. Could you please include her details on your website? I am attaching a poster with more info. She's microchipped and neutered. We're lost without her - any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL.
Up to 100,000 households received a hamper from the St. Vincent de Paul Society this Christmas, that’s up 25 per cent on last year. Well done to them, they really do try to help as many people as they can. Try to visit your local St. Vincent de Paul shop every now and then, you would be surprised at what items are available to buy at very low prices. Furniture, quality clothes for adults and children, bedding, books, kitchenware and ornaments are just some of the things that are in store. By doing so you are contributing to this vital Charity.
Don’t forget, you can also donate any of the above mentioned items to Vincent de Paul shops and recycle what you no longer need.
PUNJAB KEBAB HOUSE.
It’s very good to see an Indian Restaurant back in Cahir as I am very partial to Indian food. The new shop is in The Millrace on Abbey Street (where Bia Blasta used to be) and it only opened for business last week. I was there to order takeaway on the first day and very tasty it was too.
They have an extensive menu with plenty of choice. There is a lovely range of traditional Indian cuisine, along with a choice of Kebabs, Wraps, Pizzas, Burgers and Chips. I noticed that they also cater well for vegetarians. Although at the moment there is only a Takeaway service, I have been informed that there will be a sit down service available shortly. Watch this space for details.
Good Luck to them and welcome to Cahir too.

Sincerest Sympathies are extended to the family and friends of the late Vincent Walsh of Cahir who passed away last Saturday morning 2nd January. Vincent was a very interesting and knowledgeable gentleman; he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace.
